Paskuhan 3.0 Sa Rizal Center
Celebrate Filipino Christmas at the Rizal Center! Special guests include Alderwoman Angela Clay, Alderman Matt Martin, Alderwoman Leni Manaa-Hoppenworth, and Representative Hoan Huynh. There will be a tree lighting ceremony, a Parol Parade, community singing, and folk dancing! Geri Martinez Benz, illustrator of Time to Shine, will also be in attendance.
Book Reading and Panel: Halo Halo Project Day 2
In celebration of Filipino American History Month, Alderwoman Leni Manaa-Hoppenworth will read Time to Shine followed by a panel with author Stephanie Vivit Lehmann, clinical psychologist Dr. Stacey Litam, and educational consultant Dr. Roel Vivit. Copies of the book will be available after the panel. All ages are welcome!
